Bet on efficient driving.
There are several factors that influence the average range, such as usage profile, load, driving style and the characteristics of the route.

Energy saving starts right from the acceleration. There is no need to accelerate at full throttle, either when starting or during the rest of the journey, especially when pre-braking. Braking should be smooth and anticipated in advance.

One of the great secrets to saving your battery is to avoid sudden maneuvers and plan your routes. Shorter paths without slopes increase the number of kilometers that can be covered.

Take advantage of the descents.
Relax your wrist and let the bike go with the moment, or, in this case, the lean. Our Ecooter E1R, for example, is equipped with an energy recovery function. This means that the engine is prepared to recover energy and regenerate the battery on slopes or flat roads. An advantage that, well managed, makes a lot of difference.



Bring the speed to good port.
The greater the acceleration, the greater the energy expenditure. It makes a difference to maintain a constant speed, rather than constantly accelerating and decelerating.

As the saying goes: haste is the enemy of perfection, but Watt riders are rarely in a hurry, because traffic and parking drama pass them by. Whenever possible, choose to drive more slowly and take the time to enjoy the journey. And save battery, of course.

Check the tires.
Of the few parts that need attention on electric motorcycles, tires are one of them. As with all other vehicles, the pressure must be checked regularly, as if it is too low, it will significantly reduce the range.

Perform battery maintenance.
This is the most important point. Without a battery, the motorcycle does not work, so some specific care is necessary, such as avoiding it being exposed to water or cleaning the terminals regularly, to remove moisture, rust, corrosion and other dirt. This also prevents oxidation which, consequently, can cause energy leaks or make it difficult to pass, thus reducing autonomy.

Another thing that can prolong battery life is not leaving the vehicle stationary for a long time. Electric motorcycles must be driven daily, never exceeding a break of more than 3 weeks – if this happens, the battery must be removed until new use.

Still in relation to the battery, charging can be done at home or at work, ideally between 30% and 60%, in a dry and ventilated place. Each battery in our models allows you to travel up to 60 km. With two batteries, the autonomy can reach double. In the case of the Super Soco TC, the range varies between 80 km and 160 km, with one or two fully charged batteries, respectively. Ideal to avoid the daily traffic and reach the destination calmly.
